Buffalo Bills trade with Arizona Cardinals for Haason Reddick

Another position that could use some help is at linebacker as the team may be looking for depth. This season the Bills have already been without Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano for one week and Milano could miss additional time after suffering a pec injury against the Las Vegas Raiders.

A player like Haason Reddick could be a low risk/high reward trade that pays big dividends, similar to the trade for Jerry Hughes years ago. Reddick was a first round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 but hasn’t been able to play up to expectations. The Cardinals declined his fifth year option and he will be a free agent after this season.

One of the reasons the Bills might be interested is Reddick’s best season came in 2018 when Steve Wilks was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. Wilks was the secondary coach when Sean McDermott was the defensive coordinator in Carolina and Wilks actually replaced McDermott in 2017 as defensive coordinator.

This is a move that likely wouldn’t cost a lot for the Bills to make and he could be a good depth piece but also play in different packages.
