Buffalo Bills: 4 bold predictions for Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders
Buffalo Bills hold Derek Carr to under 200 passing yards
This may not sound like a bold prediction but if past performance is any indication it will be. The Buffalo Bills secondary entered the year as one of the best groups in the NFL. However, they are now coming off back to back games where they have allowed the opposing quarterback to throw for over 300 yards.
Last year, the Bills had only two players throw for over 300 yards all season.
While Derek Carr has done a good job this year, averaging over 260 passing yards with six passing touchdowns and no interceptions, this should be a tough game for him. He will be entering this matchup without starting wide receiver Bryan Edwards, who has been ruled out already, and likely Henry Ruggs, who has been listed as doubtful.
The loss of Ruggs is big for this offense because he is a deep threat that forces defenses to play a little further back. However, without him on the field, the Bills defense can collapse a little easier, especially around players like tight end Darren Waller, and keep the play in front of them.
The Buffalo Bills secondary has had a rough stretch of games but they get back on track with a dominant performance against the Las Vegas Raiders.
