Stefon Diggs vs. Trayvon Mullen

The Raiders are going to be without their first round Damon Arnette for this game as he deals with a thumb injury. However, this doesn’t mean that it should be an easy game for wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

The other starting cornerback for the Raiders is Trayvon Mullen and a case can be made that he is their best player at the position on the roster. Through the first three games, Mullen has allowed only five receptions for 36 yards on 10 targets. He also has four passes defended this season.

He will likely draw the assignment of the Buffalo Bills top wide receiver, Stefon Diggs. The top pass catcher didn’t have the most receiving yards against the Rams, with 49 receiving yards on four receptions, but had his second consecutive game with a touchdown reception.

Even if Diggs doesn’t have a huge stat game against the Raiders, the fact that he draws Mullen creates bigger mismatches for John Brown and Gabriel Davis that should give them an advantage.

The Raiders second round pick from last year is off to a good start but this will be a big test going up against Stefon Diggs.
