3. Aaron Rodgers (QB, Green Bay Packers)

Last Week: 3

This past week, Aaron Rodgers had a matchup with the New Orleans Saints and put together another impressive performance. He finished with 283 passing yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

The reason that Rodgers remains above Mahomes currently is that he has been a little more consistent and has been able to put up similar numbers with a lower caliber of pass catchers. The fact that Rodgers was able to have the game he did without his star wide receiver, Davante Adams, speaks to the level he is currently playing.

This is not to say that Allen Lazard, Marques Vales-Scantling, and Marcedes Lewis are not good players but they are not on the same level as Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Mecole Hardman. Next up for Aaron Rodgers is the Atlanta Falcons, which has the makings of being a shootout and Rodgers could have his best game of the season.
