A.J. Epenesa

A.J. Epenesa continues to see his role grow after being inactive in Week 1 but played in his first career game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. He would play 17 snaps in that game but didn’t register a stat.

That certainly changed against the Los Angeles Rams as he had his first career sack, which came in the first quarter. Epenesa’s sack, followed by Matt Milano‘s sack on the next play, certainly played a role in pushing the Rams back giving them a longer field goal attempt, which they missed.

This is a positive sign for the young pass rusher and if he continues to play like this, he should see his snaps continue to grow and he will become a bigger part of this defense.
