Gabriel Davis

There was plenty of excitement around Gabriel Davis coming out of training camp but the fourth round draft pick is off to start many didn’t expect. This is not because he isn’t a good wide receiver but because of the talent the Buffalo Bills have at the position.

After last week making a spectacular diving catch for a touchdown, Gabriel Davis was asked to play a much bigger role against the Los Angeles Rams. The Bills saw starting wide receiver John Brown suffer a calf injury and it was Davis who replaced him in the lineup.

He would go on to finish the game with four receptions, 81 yards and was the wide receiver that drew the key pass interference call on the Bills final drive.

If John Brown is forced to miss extended time due to the calf injury, the coaching staff should feel confident in Gabriel Davis stepping in and continuing to produce.
