Defensive End
The Los Angeles Rams did a good job of giving Jared Goff time in the pocket and keeping the Buffalo Bills pass rushers at bay. The team got two sacks on Goff however they came on back to back plays in the first quarter.
The first sack came from A.J. Epenesa, which was the first of his career. The second-round pick was active for his second career game and finished with one tackle, one sack and two QB hits. If he continues to play like this, he should see his playing time increase.
As mentioned it was a pretty quiet day from the other pass rushers as Trent Murphy, Jerry Hughes, and Mario Addison combined for only four total tackles and no sacks or QB hits.

Defensive Tackle
Similar to defensive end, it was a pretty quiet game from the defensive tackles as Quinton Jefferson, Ed Oliver and Vernon Butler each had one tackle while Oliver and Butler each had one QB hit.
One of the concerning takeaways from this game was how much the Bills struggled in the trenches as Darrell Henderson was able to rush for over 100 yards, which was the first time all season a running back has been able to do that against the Buffalo Bills.
This is a group that should be able to get more pressure from the defensive tackle and Eric Washington and the rest of the defensive staff will likely be working on this group before next week’s game.
