Tyler Bass vs. Samuel Sloman

Yes, the battle between the kickers is going to be a key matchup for the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams. Both teams have a rookie kicker and both have looked shaky early this season.

For the Buffalo Bills, the team has sixth round pick Tyler Bass as their starter who missed two kicks in Week 1 against the New York Jets. He made the one field goal attempt in Week 2 and has been perfect on extra point attempts, making all seven.

As for the Rams, they have Samuel Sloman who they selected in the seventh round and he has made three of four on field goal attempts with his only miss coming inside of 30 yards. However, Sloman also has missed an extra point making six of seven.

In a game that is expected to be close, all points are going to be critical. If either team is in scoring position, they need to convert those points. A missed field goal or missed extra point could be the deciding factor in who wins this game.

In a game where the weather could be a factor as winds are expected to be between 10 to 20 miles per hour, there will be plenty of pressure on the team’s kickers.
