Buffalo Bills Linebackers
There was no question that all eyes were on the linebacker position as Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano were both out for this week’s game. At middle linebacker was Tyrel Dodson while A.J. Klein was expected to replace Milano.
It was undoubtedly shaky early on but Dodson looked to get more comfortable as the game went on and he finished with eight total tackles, one tackle for a loss and two passes defended. He showed really good athleticism and it is not surprising why the coaching staff had so much confidence in him.
As for Klein, he finished with five total tackles but the Dolphins did a good job targeting him in the passing game and he really struggled here. In the end, it wasn’t a great performance from the position, but when considering the circumstances they did a decent job.

Buffalo Bills Secondary
There is no way to say this other than it wasn’t a great day for the Buffalo Bills secondary, specifically the cornerbacks. Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer were once again as steady as they come with their play as Hyde finished with nine total tackles and Poyer with eight total tackles but also added a sack.
However, it was clear the Dolphins came into this game with a gameplan to throw to whichever wide receiver was covered by Levi Wallace. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 328 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
It doesn’t get any easier for this group as they will be facing a high powered Rams passing attack in Week 3.
