Addition: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Release/Don’t Re-sign: Dean Marlowe

The Buffalo Bills are expected to bring back Dean Marlowe after additional moves but instead of bringing back Marlowe, the team should consider adding Ha Ha Clinton-Dix instead.

Clinton-Dix was a former first round pick by the Green Bay Packers but most recently was with the Dallas Cowboys. However, the Cowboys after signing him this offseason elected to release him prior to the season.

The reason it makes sense, which is similar to the previous player, is that starting experience is going to be very valuable for the Buffalo Bills. The uncertainty around the pandemic and the potential players could miss games, it is important to have players that have those snaps.

The safety position with Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer is one of the strengths of this defense and if the Bills were to be forced to be without one of them a player like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix could step in as a starter with minimal drop in terms of production.
