Andrew Norwell

The offensive guard position isn’t necessarily a pressing need but adding a player like Andrew Norwell would be an upgrade. It is also hard to look past the Carolina Panthers connection as Norwell joined the franchise in 2014 as an undrafted free agent.

This was at a time that Brandon Beane was part of their front office and likely played a part in the decision making. Norwell would go on to start his rookie season and become a key part of their offensive line through the 2017 season.

He would leave Carolina and sign a big free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars that was five years, $66.5 million. This would undoubtedly be one of the reasons the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t consider a trade because of the money still owed to Norwell.

However, if the Buffalo Bills are confident they could manage taking on his contract adding a player like Andrew Norwell would be a boost for this offensive line.
