Running Back/Fullback (4)

Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, Taiwan Jones, Reggie Gilliam

The Buffalo Bills are going to have to cut in some areas to keep the best 53 players. In past seasons the Bills have gone with four running backs, one who has primarily focused on special teams, and one fullback.

This year though, considering the Bills have two players in Devin Singletary and Zack Moss who are expected to get almost all the work at running back, they can go with three running backs. The battle will come down to TJ Yeldon and Taiwan Jones however Jones’ ability on special teams helps him win that battle.

One of the biggest changes from our previous prediction is Reggie Gilliam wins the fullback job over Patrick DiMarco. The undrafted free agent from Toledo made a strong impression early in camp. Special teams coordinator Heath Farwell spoke highly of him and his ability on special teams. This, combined with the Bills saving $1.4 million in cap space by releasing DiMarco, is the driving force behind this move.
