Isaiah Hodgins

Unfortunately, Isaiah Hodgins is in the same boat as Gabriel Davis in that there is not a clear path to playing time as a rookie. However, the sixth round pick has been making some impressive plays during training camp that could force the coaching staff to scheme ways into him into the gameplan.

The one thing that Hodgins brings to the position is his size and his ability to high point the pass. He showed that off earlier this week in one of the first padded practices for the Buffalo Bills.

While Gabriel Davis likely will line up on the outside, Hodgins could find some work as a big slot receiver for the Bills. The one area that he could be the most valuable is in the red zone where throwing lanes are tighter. By having a wide receiver with his physical gifts, it creates a little more space with Josh Allen able to put the ball higher knowing he is going to come down with it.
