Gabriel Davis

The Buffalo Bills fourth round pick actually missed practice earlier in the week due to a leg contusion. However, it was only one day and he was back on the field Wednesday.

He didn’t waste much time making presence known with one of the top plays on Thursday. He ran a slant route against Tre’Davious White and was hit in stride by quarterback Davis Webb. This was just what he needed as he was able to out run White and the rest of the defense for what would have been a touchdown.

It remains to be seen exactly how much playing time is going to be available for Davis, along with Isaiah Hodgins, considering the top of the depth chart is pretty well set with Stefon Diggs, John Brown and Cole Beasley.

If he continues to show this kind of speed, while taking into account his size, Brian Daboll will likely try to find a way to get him a few targets every week on specially designed plays.
