Buffalo Bills are committed to Cody Ford at right tackle

Last year, the Buffalo Bills brought in a number of offensive linemen as they tried to figure out who the best five were to put on the field. Last training camp, Cody Ford saw time at both right guard and right tackle but with the emergence of Feliciano it made sense to put Ford at right tackle to put the five best players on the field.

Over the weekend, I made the case that the Bills should commit to Ford at right guard. I still believe he could be an elite guard but with the addition of Brian Winters, the coaching staff can give Cody Ford one more year to develop at right tackle.

On Tuesday, Brandon Beane was on WGR550 and reiterated that the team wants to see what Ford can do as a right tackle. However, still left the door open for him to shift to guard, according to this tweet from Sal Capaccio.

The idea that Cody Ford could still play guard leads into the next takeaway.
