These are four stats that should be discussed more for the Buffalo Bills entering the 2020 season.

There is no question that this is a pivotal year for the Buffalo Bills. They have made the playoffs two out of the last three years but the expectations are they need to take that next step this season.

The departure of Tom Brady from the division, as he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, makes the race for the AFC East title as wide open as it has felt in nearly two decades. If the Bills were able to win the division, it would be the first time since 1995, but in addition the goal is that they can also win at least one playoff game this year.

There are a number of stats that can be highlighted that the Buffalo Bills must improve if they hope to take that next step as a franchise and reach that top tier within the AFC, and hopefully, ultimately the NFL.

The biggest glaring weakness is certainly on the offensive side of the ball as they have ranked in the bottom half of most scoring and passing categories. These have been discussed in great detail but there was some additional stats and trends from last year that haven’t gotten as much attention.

These are four stats the Buffalo Bills will hopefully improve this coming season that may not be as discussed as much.
