Ed Oliver’s case dismissed
The Buffalo Bills news was positive for Ed Oliver as it was announced last week that both of Ed Oliver’s charges of a DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon he received while in Texas were dismissed.
Oliver was arrested by Houston police back in May on charges of driving while intoxicated after he was spotted by police with an open beer in between his legs. After failing a road-side sobriety test and a pistol was discovered in the cabin of his car, Oliver was taken to Montgomery County Jail.
In their initial statement by the Buffalo Bills, the team said that they were aware of the situation and were monitoring it closely.
A few days prior, the Bills provided another update on Oliver’s situation as the season neared and there was no news on a league-sanctioned suspension for Oliver. In a statement the Bills published on Wednesday, the Bills announced that all of Oliver’s charges had been dropped.
