These are six veterans on the Buffalo Bills who will be impacted the most without any preseason games this year.

Even though teams have begun opening training camp, the NFL and NFLPA continue to negotiate towards an agreement of what the next few weeks may look like leading up to the 2020 season. The latest change is that the Buffalo Bills and the rest of the league will not play in any preseason games.

The lack of preseason games is going to impact teams and players in different ways. There are a number of teams with new head coaches, coordinators and quarterbacks that are now going to try and get on the same page without live action. The Buffalo Bills are fortunate in this area considering they are now entering their third year with the same people in each of those roles.

It is also going to impact rookies who will not have a chance to get a chance to play at the NFL level before the games matter. This may mean teams will slowly incorporate them into their gameplan to start the year but also means teams may elect to keep more veterans on their 53-man roster rather than some of these younger players.

While rookies are likely going to be impacted the most, there are a number of veterans who could have also benefited from having preseason games. These are players who could be returning from injury, fighting for a starting job or even trying to earn one of those final roster spots.
