Robert Foster

The Buffalo Bills added a number of wide receivers this offseason with Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins. There is no question that the wide receiver position is going to be one of the most challenging training camp battles and the Buffalo Bills are going to have tough decisions when they begin to cut down the roster.

One of those players that was really facing an uphill battle was Robert Foster, the former undrafted free agent out of the University of Alabama. As a rookie in 2018, Foster had a great finish to the year and over the second half was Josh Allen‘s number one wide receiver.

However, last year he fell down the depth chart with the additions of John Brown and Cole Beasley and saw minimal playing time during the regular season. The loss of preseason games is going to really impact Foster’s chances at making the 53-man roster.

He was going to need a strong performance not only in practice but the preseason games to jump some of the other players who is likely ahead of him like Isaiah McKenzie or even some of the Buffalo Bills’ draft picks.
