Vosean Joseph

Another player on the Buffalo Bills who missed a significant amount of time last year due to injury is Vosean Joseph. The former University of Miami linebacker was a fifth round pick by the Buffalo Bills last year and was showing promise during the preseason.

However, a shoulder injury landed him on injured reserve and didn’t play a single snap during the regular season.

Entering 2020, Joseph now has a chance to compete for a starting linebacker job with the retirement of Lorenzo Alexander. He will be competing with free agent addition A.J. Klein and experience could be the deciding factor for who wins.

While Joseph will not have nearly as much experience as Klein, it would have been a good opportunity for him to show he is capable of holding the starting job in live action. Now that the coaching staff won’t have that film, they will likely start the year with Klein but give Joseph a chance to earn more snaps as the year goes along.
