Predicting the Buffalo Bills 2020 Depth Chart: Wide Receivers
By Daniel Bruce
With the addition of a bonafide number one receiver in Stefon Diggs, the Buffalo Bills boasts one of the best receiving groups in the NFL.
The difference between the Buffalo Bills receiving depth chart in the present day, and the one in Josh Allen‘s first season in 2018, is night and day.
The Bills started the rebuilding process with the tremendous acquisitions in last year’s free agency of veterans John Brown and Cole Beasley to a receiving core in desperate need of talent, as Zay Jones and Robert Foster were the two best at the position the year prior.
Brown and Beasley were both huge reasons why the Bills offense improved last season, and were catalysts for Josh Allen improvement. This is all before Buffalo added three more receivers in this offseason.
The aforementioned Stefon Diggs is the big story of the wide receiver group and rightfully so, but the Bills did bring in two receivers in this years NFL Draft with fourth-round pick Gabriel Davis and sixth-round pick Isaiah Hodgins. With Davis being a lock due to his draft position, Hodgins has a different road to the roster, but with his unique skill set he could force the Buffalo Bills’ hand.
