When asked what his greatest game was the former New England Patriots quarterback picked a game in 2007 against the Buffalo Bills.

For nearly two decades, the Buffalo Bills have had to deal with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Over those years, a number of the games weren’t close and many were likely over by halftime.

Even with the dominance that Brady has shown over the Bills, it was a little surprising when asked what his greatest game was, he picked a game in 2007 against the Buffalo Bills. The stat line from that game is rather remarkable as he went 31 of 39 for 373 passing yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. He threw four of those touchdowns to Randy Moss, who caught 10 passes for 128 receiving yards to go along with those touchdowns.

The bad news for the Buffalo Bills was this game took place on Sunday Night Football as the Patriots ran away, winning by a final score of 56-10.

The reason that it was surprising to hear Tom Brady pick that game was this is a quarterback who has appeared in nine Super Bowls and won six of them. This Week 11 matchup between the Bills and Patriots wasn’t even Brady’s best performance in that record setting year that he threw 50 touchdown passes.

In 2007, there was three other games that he threw for more yards, with a season high of 399 yards, and there was one game that he threw for more touchdowns. That game was in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins, when he completed 21 of 25 passes for 354 yards and six touchdowns.

Over the years, Tom Brady has helped the New England Patriots dominate the rivalry against the Buffalo Bills. The former Patriots quarterback has compiled a 32-3 record against the Bills for his career. While the Bills won’t likely come out and admit it, there is certainly a part of them were relieved when news broke that Brady would be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
