Buffalo Bills: 5 fastest players currently on the roster
These are the five fastest players currently on the Buffalo Bills entering training camp.
Some coaches will say they can teach a football player a lot but the one thing they can’t teach is speed. Over the years, the Buffalo Bills have had a number of players that can run by defenses in a blink of an eye, like Roscoe Parrish, T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin.
Entering this year, the Buffalo Bills have a number of players that will fill that need. It is hard to know who exactly is the fastest but based on these players 40 yard dash times from the Scouting Combines, these are the five fastest players on the Buffalo Bills.
5. Isaiah McKenzie
40-yard dash: 4.42 seconds
The first player on this list is wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie, who posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.42 prior to the 2017 NFL Draft. The third-year wide receiver just edged out one of the newest members of the Buffalo Bills, Stefon Diggs, who had a 4.46 time when he ran the 40-yard dash.
McKenzie joined the Bills midway through the 2018 season and over the past two years has been a bit of a swiss army knife for this offense. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has gotten creative with ways to get McKenzie the ball and has 45 receptions, 433 receiving yards and one touchdown. However, he also has 18 rushing attempts for 115 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Entering training camp, McKenzie may be on the bubble with the additions of Diggs and rookie wide receivers Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins. However, the versatility he brings, along with his speed, should help his chances to make the roster.
