The Buffalo Bills were recently picked as one of the most complete teams this coming season in the NFL by Adam Schein.

The Buffalo Bills were coming off a 10 win season and entering this offseason did not have many key players who were becoming free agents. They were able to bring back one, Quinton Spain, but did lose Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson.

The fact that there was minimal changes gave Brandon Beane and the front office chance to focus on improving rather than trying to replace. They certainly did that with moves like trading for Stefon Diggs, signing a number of defensive linemen and drafting players like A.J. Epenesa and Zack Moss.

This is why it isn’t surprising when the Buffalo Bills find themselves on lists like the one put together by Adam Schein over at NFL.com. He recently ranked the NFL most complete teams with no surprise that the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers and the defending Super Bowl Champions Kansas City Chiefs in the top three spots.

After those three were two NFC South teams with the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers but entering the list in sixth was the Buffalo Bills.

"Trade acquisition Stefon Diggs gives Josh Allen the true No. 1 receiver he needed — and gives Buffalo legit depth and talent at receiver, joining John Brown and Cole Beasley. Allen was so tough and clutch last year when it mattered during the regular season. I really think he’s primed for a monster 2020. Devin Singletary and Zack Moss will be a solid 1-2 punch at running back, too. It’s only fitting that I haven’t even mentioned Sean McDermott’s defense, the unit which — unbeknownst to many — finished last season at second in points allowed and third in total D. The front seven is very strong, with Tremaine Edmunds emerging as one of the game’s most dynamic young linebackers. Tre’Davious White is a flat-out star at corner, earning first-team All-Pro honors last season.Buffalo isn’t the flashiest team in the NFL, but it’s definitely one of the league’s best."

It is certainly interesting to see that the Buffalo Bills were sixth, especially considering the five teams ahead of them are legitimate Super Bowl contenders this year. While it remains to be seen if the Buffalo Bills should be in that discussion, there is no question that this is one of the best rosters the Bills have had in a very long time.

There isn’t many glaring holes on the roster and the biggest weakness is opposite Tre’Davious White at cornerback. However, the Bills did bring back Levi Wallace and signed Josh Norman and E.J. Gaines as competition. Even with Wallace as the starting cornerback last year, the Bills had one of the best secondaries in the league.

The departure of Tom Brady out of the AFC East couldn’t come at a better time as the Buffalo Bills will be looking to capture their first division title since 1995.
