The athletically talented linebacker missed all of last season with a shoulder injury and will look to rebound and find a spot on the Buffalo Bills roster this year.

After missing a full season due to injury, Vosean Joseph may not have been able to be on the field but should have been able to use last year as time to pick up on the playbook and gain invaluable information from veteran players.

Coming into the league as an athletically talented linebacker from Florida, many expected Joseph to fit in as a backup at linebacker and be a core contributor on special teams. However, after missing the season the young linebacker spot on the roster may be in doubt this year.

The Buffalo Bills carried five linebackers last season, with Julian Stanford and Corey Thompson as the reserves at the position. Now with Stanford gone there will likely be a battle between Thompson and Joseph for the final spot, with the signing of special teams ace Tyler Matakevich likely a guarantee to make the roster.

With little to no information gained from last season about Joseph, the Buffalo Bills will have to rely on evaluating what they see in training camp and preseason from the young linebacker.
