A legitimate case can be made that LeSean McCoy is the best Buffalo Bill of the last decade.

The running back spent four years of his prime in Buffalo and in that time made three Pro Bowls. Before he became a Bill, McCoy was already known as one of the league’s greatest running backs. In Philadelphia, Shady rushed for nearly 7,000 yards and 44 touchdowns in six seasons. In early 2015, McCoy was dealt to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for Kiko Alonso in a blockbuster trade that the Bills clearly won.

Upon his arrival in Buffalo, Shady just kept on being Shady. In his four years with the team, McCoy rushed for nearly 4,000 yards along with 25 touchdowns. In 2018, it seemed that father time finally started catching up with McCoy when he ran only 514 yards and three touchdowns.

Prior to the 2019 season, McCoy was cut by the Bills and later signed with the Kansas City Chiefs where he rushed for over 400 yards and earned a Super Bowl ring with his former coach in Philadelphia, Andy Reid.

Shady was an integral part of ending the Bills’ playoff drought in 2017. That season, he ran for 1,138 yards and 6 touchdowns and earned his sixth and most recent Pro Bowl nod.

Currently, McCoy sits at #22 on the all time rushing list and could realistically crack the top ten by the time his career is over. He was undoubtedly one of the most dominant backs of his era and has a realistic shot at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
