Stealing from the New England Patriots

The first team the Buffalo Bills would steal from would be the New England Patriots and they have some intriguing options. At the top is Stephon Gilmore, who is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. If the team could add Gilmore to play opposite Tre’Davious White, this would be the best cornerback tandem in the league.

However, the AFC East has some tremendous cornerbacks that could address that need while the Patriots have another player that is far and away better than other options within the division.

The first player the Buffalo Bills would steal is guard Joe Thuney, who the Patriots used the franchise tag on this offseason. Pro Football Focus had him as the 24th best free agent available this offseason and noted that he has been “one of the 10 most valuable guard in each of his three seasons” in the NFL.

While the Buffalo Bills have two serviceable guards in Quinton Spain and Jon Feliciano, the addition of Thuney would be a big upgrade.
