Jake Fromm

The former Georgia quarterback was expected to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in this NFL Draft however a poor showing at the NFL Combine, coupled with the inability to do private workouts for NFL teams, saw his stock plummet. The Buffalo Bills saw him still on the board in the fifth round and couldn’t pass up on the value.

As for fantasy owners, if Fromm is sitting on the board in the final rounds, they should take a similar approach that the Buffalo Bills did and not pass up on his value.

Jake Fromm is a player that doesn’t have the great physical skill set that a Josh Allen has but he has incredible football IQ, can identify weak spots in the defense and does have enough arm strength to get the ball to where he needs it to go.

If Bills fans select Fromm, they hopefully won’t have a chance to plug them into their lineups because this means either Josh Allen got hurt or regressed. The best case scenario would be that Fromm becomes available via trade and the Buffalo Bills trade him to a team in need of a starting quarterback, similar to what the New England Patriots did with Jimmy Garoppolo.
