Round 3, 90th Overall: Adolphus Washington, DT (Ohio State)

Adolphus Washington was seen as a great value pick at this point in the third-round as he offered versatility at 4-tech, 2-tech and even 0-tech along the defensive line. These all fit well into a Rex Ryan defense and the Ohio State product was expected to play an influential role.

The defensive tackle was uninspiring in his first two seasons with the Buffalo BIills, while playing regularly. Washington played in 30 games, including 21 starts ,while only producing 3.5 sacks.

He still started 10 games with the new regime but didn’t make any waves and was out of Buffalo the next season after appearing one game. He played four more games for the Cincinnati Bengals but was out of the league by 2018. I wouldn’t expect him to make another appearance in the league.
