Buffalo Bills: 8 players who should be added to the Wall of Fame
Aaron Schobel
Aaron Schobel is in a similar situation as Eric Moulds in that he plays a position that the Buffalo Bills were fortunate enough to have one of the best ever to play the position. Bruce Smith was one of the best defensive ends ever in the NFL and owns a number of franchise records that likely will never be broken however behind him was Aaron Schobel.
The Bills drafted Aaron Schobel in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft and played nine seasons for the franchise. He became a fixture on the defensive line during that time and finished with 78 sacks, which is the second highest total behind Bruce Smith’s 178 sacks.
Similar to Kyle Williams, Aaron Schobel played during a time that the Buffalo Bills weren’t very competitive and were right in the middle of that playoff drought. However, the effort that he played fans would never know that, in addition to the fact that he stuck with the franchise his entire career showed his commitment. He is another player that would be a perfect addition to the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame.
