The Buffalo Bills had two players make Pete Prisco’s recent rankings of the Top 100 players in the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills seemingly are always forgotten when it comes to player rankings and this list feels no different. Recently, CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco put together his list of the Top 100 players for the 2020 season and it wasn’t until 52nd that the Bills had their first player on the list.

That player is cornerback Tre’Davious White, who is coming off an All-Pro and Pro Bowl season, and one where he was tied for the league lead in interceptions with six.

"Tre’Davious White Buffalo Bills CBAfter a so-so 2018 season, he bounced back last season to play at a high level on the corner. He’s a good man cover player who is ascending."

It is rather surprising to see White so far down the list, especially when Prisco ranks Stephon Gilmore as the sixth best player. Prior to the Buffalo Bills second matchup against the New England Patriots last season, Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrer goes really in-depth to the comparisons between White and Gilmore and the stats show there wasn’t really much difference between the two last year.

It appears that Tre’Davious White will need another season similar to last season to move up some of these rankings.

The other player on this list isn’t until 91st overall and he is one that hasn’t even taken a snap yet for the Buffalo Bills. That player is wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who the Bills traded for this offseason.

"Stefon Diggs Buffalo Bills WRHe had 63 catches for the Vikings last season, but eight were for 40 yards or more. That’s big-play ability. He will add a lot to the Bills offense."

As Prisco mentions, Diggs is a big play threat and had eight plays over 40 yards. The speed and route running Diggs has along with the strong arm of Josh Allen feels like a match made in heaven. Now that Stefon Diggs is going to be a number one wide receiver in an offense, he should have a good chance to make the Pro Bowl his first year with the Buffalo Bills.

If the Buffalo Bills are able to win the AFC East this coming season, which feels like the benchmark for a successful season, then the team should have more than two players in the Top 100.
