Josh Allen

The quarterback position is without a doubt the most important position on the football team and as long as Josh Allen continues to develop, he will be a priority for the front office to extend past his rookie deal.

Allen was the seventh overall pick for the Buffalo Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft and over his first 25 starts has a 15-10 record as a starter. There was no question when he entered the league that he was a great athlete and could make some impressive plays, both with his arm and his legs.

The question was whether he could develop as a quarterback and he has shown positive steps in this area as well. He was able to improve his completion percentage six points from his rookie season to last year, which is significant.

The Buffalo Bills certainly will have a few more years to make a decision but if Josh Allen continues to show improvement year over year, he should still be the team’s starting quarterback in five years.
