Terrell Owens

Sure, why not? It has been 10 years since Terrell Owens has stepped onto a NFL field but at 46 years of age he could probably still contribute to an offense. The one thing that Owens can bring is certainly size at 6’3″ and 190 pounds that can be utilized close to the goal line.

This is something that the Hall of Fame wide receiver said just last year, whether jokingly or not, that he could still play and even mentioned contributing as a red zone and third down target:

"“To all NFL teams, 45 or not, I stay ready, so I don’t have to get ready,” he said. “Just call me, just call my phone, and I will come running.” Wait is he serious? “Red zone, that’s all I need,” the former five-time All Pro added. “Third down and red zone. [There’s] going to be some problems.”"

Owens played only one year with the Buffalo Bills and this offseason talked about how much he enjoyed his time in Buffalo. The one year he was with the Bills was statistically one of his worst with only 55 receptions, 829 receiving yards and five touchdowns but that could be attributed more to poor quarterback play and the coaching staff led by Dick Jauron.

This would certainly be the longest shot of any of the other players listed but Terrell Owens certainly would like one more chance and he probably is in shape that he could be a weapon in the red zone like he mentions.
