Buffalo Bills: 3 stats Josh Allen must improve to win MVP in 2020
Recently the idea of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen being considered a dark-horse candidate to win the MVP award this upcoming season. If he is going to win Most Valuable Player, these are three stats he would have likely improved.
In the Buffalo Bills franchise history, the team has had only two players win the MVP award. That was Thurman Thomas in 1991 and O.J. Simpson in 1973 but that could change this upcoming season.
Last week, Adam Schein of NFL.com named Josh Allen as the top dark-horse candidate to win the MVP award this upcoming season. If he were to win, he would become the first quarterback for the Buffalo Bills to achieve such a feat. This is amazing to think about considering Jim Kelly, who was the franchise’s best quarterback, a member of the Hall of Fame, and led the team to four straight Super Bowls never took home the hardware.
However, for Allen to win the MVP award he will need to have another drastic year over year improvement, similar to what he did from his rookie year to last season. The Bills quarterback certainly showed some promise but there is still room for growth.
For Josh Allen to enter into the running for the MVP award in 2020, these are three stats he must improve.
