Buffalo Bills: 5 players with the most to gain in 2020

With a couple key additions on the offensive side of the ball, Josh Allen cannot be excused anymore. The Bills starting quarterback now has one of the best wide receiver groups in the league, a dynamic duo at the running back position and all starters returning on a solid offensive line.

One aspect of Allen’s game that is often criticized is his accuracy, which in some cases is true but doesn’t tell the whole story. Improvement has been the calling card for Allen, he saw a six percent increase in completion percentage at 58.8%.

Through the short to intermediate passing game Allen has no issues, even ranking near the top of the league in passes traveling from 10-19 yards. Where Allen needs to improve is on the deep ball, having the highest percentage of uncatchable passed over 20 yards, according to Pro Football Focus. Buffalo saw this as a weakness and added one of the best in the game at tracking the deep ball, Stefon Diggs.

Zack Moss will also provide great value to Allen, he is great in pass protection and also can be a threat in the receiving game. In his final season at Utah he had 28 catches for 388 yards and 2 touchdowns.

With these additions and the continuity remaining on this improving Bills squad, all arrows are pointing up for Allen as he heads into his third season.
