Week 8 – New England Patriots (Home)

The next spot for a must-win comes a few weeks later against the New England Patriots. The Bills must beat the Patriots this year and the Week 8 matchup at home is their best chance. The Bills have yet to beat the Patriots in six tries under head coach Sean McDermott.

Digging deeper reveals only one current roster player, Jerry Hughes, has ever tasted victory against them. The Bills must get over the mental hump of losing to the Patriots. If they lose in this first opportunity without Tom Brady the mental loss will be bigger than the actual loss in the win-lose column. Doubts and negativity will creep into the minds of everyone at One Bills Drive with another Patriots win.
