Josh Allen’s big arm

The final reason that Stefon Diggs could make the Pro Bowl this coming season is because of the quarterback he has throwing him the ball. One of Diggs greatest strengths is the excellent speed he has on the outside. In his career he has averaged 12.7 yards per reception but this past year that total was 17.9 yards per reception.

However, Diggs has never had a quarterback with the arm strength that Josh Allen possesses. The former Vikings wide receiver has caught passes from players like Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum and Teddy Bridgewater and while they are good quarterbacks, they don’t have the arm that Josh Allen does.

This creates a great opportunity for Stefon Diggs to be part of some explosive, big yardage plays. The Bills coaching staff will likely have a few plays drawn up every week that they are going to take a shot with Stefon Diggs. The question is going to be just how many they are able to connect on and if the number is high, then Stefon Diggs should easily surpass his career high in receiving yards of 1,130 yards.

The Buffalo Bills made a big move by bringing in Stefon Diggs and the move to Buffalo should excite Diggs as he now steps into an offense where he is the clear number one wide receiver and has a quarterback with an arm like Josh Allen. This should be a breakout year for Stefon Diggs that will end with a Pro Bowl selection.
