Buffalo Bills: Ranking the chances of UDFA to make 53-man roster

8. Brandon Walton

The first player on this list is Brandon Walton, offensive tackle out of Florida Atlantic University. He saw extensive playing time with the Owls over the past few seasons and spent this past year at left tackle, where he earned first-team All-C-USA honors.

As Tony Pauline at Pro Football Network notes, he is a tackle that works hard but lacks the athleticism needed for the position. He would need to do most of his work inside and really doesn’t show great upside.

This last part is the one that really hurts his chances because the Bills added another offensive tackle among the undrafted free agents that has more potential. Even if Walton had a good training camp, considering the depth they have across the offensive line it is hard to see him surpassing any veteran to earn a roster spot.
