Buffalo Bills: 3 possible matchups that could be on primetime in 2020
By Rob Spehar
Thursday Night Football – Arizona Cardinals
This can turn out to be a very good underrated prime time game. At first when you say the team names, it really doesn’t jump out at you. But when you dig a little deeper, you start to see how this can turn out to be diamond in the rough kind of a game with two teams who are on the up.
After watching Kliff Kingsbury sitting on his couch during the virtual draft in shoes with no socks and that kind of house with the mountains as a backdrop, I started to think how “slick” this game could turn out to be. Kyle Murray, Kenyan Drake and Larry Fitzgerald were already there. Now you add the great DeAndre Hopkins via trade and then draft the swiss army knife Isaiah Simmons to the mix, you take a step back and realize that the Cardinals are about to make some noise.
The Bills match up very well with the Cardinals at every level and can cover all their skill players. The Cardinal secondary is suspect and this is an opportunity for Josh Allen to showcase his arm strength tossing deep balls to his new toy, Stefon Diggs.
The Buffalo Bills pass rush can be relentless which will make Kyler Murray scramble, but when he hits the second level, Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano are waiting. What would be really fun to watch is A.J. Epenesa chasing down Kyler Murray all around University of Phoenix Stadium in a fun midweek matchup.
