Andre Roberts

Andre Roberts was a free agent signing last offseason mainly due to his ability as a return man. He was coming off a Pro Bowl season with the New York Jets and then followed it up with another Pro Bowl season with the Buffalo Bills.

However, as mentioned previously with Hodgins, the Bills may not be able to afford having a wide receiver that can only contribute to one area or the other. In the past three years, Roberts only has 14 receptions for 111 receiving yards.

The other issue working against Roberts is that he will be 32 years of age entering the season so the team may elect to go with a younger player, even though Roberts has been one of the top returners the past few years.

If Roberts can show he can contribute on offense, he likely has a good chance to grab one of the two final spots on the depth chart.
