Safety (4)

Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Dean Marlowe, Jaquan Johnson

This is another position that there really shouldn’t be a great deal of suspense as the Bills will likely keep the same position they had from last year. The starting duo of Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer is one of the best in the league and a strength of this defense.

Backing them up is Dean Marlowe, who played for Sean McDermott in Carolina and has been with the Bills the past two years. The other player at the position is Jaquan Johnson, who was a sixth round pick by the Buffalo Bills last year.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see them potentially add a veteran at some point this offseason but the Bills coaching staff likely feels confident in these four at the safety position.
