Buffalo Bills: 4 free agents to consider signing after 2020 NFL Draft

Jadeveon Clowney

The big name on everyone’s mind is clearly defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. The former first overall pick entered the offseason as one of the top free agents however a market never really materialized for him at the salary he was hoping for.

However, his asking price could be dropping and a place like Buffalo could be the perfect fit for him to try to boost that value and land a big deal next offseason.

The Bills still have enough cap space to give Clowney a one-year deal in the $14-16 million range, especially if they were to cut Trent Murphy, but more importantly he would step into what is already one of the top defenses in the NFL.

He could have a chance to line up alongside Ed Oliver, Jerry Hughes, Mario Addison, former teammate Quinton Jefferson to name a few. The depth and talent on this defensive line could give him a chance to get some more favorable matchups and try to bump up his sack totals.

If Clowney wants to join a winning organization with legitimate playoff aspirations and still get a respectable salary, then he should join the Bills.
