Bryce Hall

If the Buffalo Bills still need a cornerback in the third round, a player like Bryce Hall would be a great selection. The former Virginia cornerback entered this past year as a likely first round pick, however a broken ankle cost him half the season. It also likely cost him draft position.

Hall is 6’1″ and 202 pounds and has the makings of being a shutdown corner in this defense. As Joe Marino from The Draft Network describes in his scouting report a player that makes sense for Buffalo:

"Hall is a long and physical corner with exceptional ball skills, but his quickness and agility are only average making him best suited for a zone heavy scheme in the NFL. While he isn’t a universal scheme fit, Hall profiles as a plus starter in the right role and his ability to make game-changing plays on the football certainly increase his appeal."

The addition of Hall to the competition with Josh Norman, Levi Wallace and E.J. Gaines will be interesting to watch come training camp. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Hall come out of camp with the starting job.
