Round 2, 54th overall: Trevon Diggs, CB (Alabama)

The Buffalo Bills start out their draft by adding the younger brother of the player, Stefon Diggs, that they traded for earlier this offseason. While this will be a nice storyline of the Bills having both brothers on their roster, Trevon Diggs is too good to pass up here.

The former Alabama cornerback is a perfect fit for this defense as one of his strengths is playing zone, something he demonstrated in college. Diggs is a long, athletic cornerback that knows how to attack the football due to his high school experience as a wide receiver.

The addition of Diggs gives the Bills that long term solution at cornerback opposite Tre’Davious White. The team was pretty active by adding Josh Norman and E.J. Gaines, as well as bringing back Levi Wallace, but Diggs can compete right away for that starting job.
