Round 3, 86th overall: Jonathan Greenard, EDGE (Florida)

The Buffalo Bills stay on the defensive side of the ball in the third round and grab Jonathan Greenard out of the University of Florida. He played only one season with the Gators after being a graduate transfer from the University of Louisville but had his best season at the collegiate level.

This past season he had 53 total tackles, 16.0 tackles for a loss and 10.0 sacks which is impressive considering he missed the entire 2018 season due to a wrist injury.

The addition of Greenard makes sense for the Bills because they add some youth to a position group that is rather old and has questions past 2020. The team did add Mario Addison and he will be joining Jerry Hughes and Trent Murphy at the top of the depth chart.

However, all three are over 30 years old and Murphy is a free agent after this year. Greenard could have a situational role as a rookie with an eye towards a starting job in 2021.
