Round 2 – A.J. Epenesa

This may be a little wishful thinking on my part but if A.J. Epenesa is still on the board when the Bills are on the clock, or still on the board as the Bills pick is coming up, this is a player that Brandon Beane should try to grab.

He has the type of personality that every coach wants from their players as he has a passion and a motor that doesn’t stop. As a member of the Iowa Hawkeyes’ defense he was an excellent pass rusher and put up double digit sacks each of the last two years. He also combined for 31 tackles for a loss and eight forced fumbles over that stretch.

At 6’6″ and 280 pounds he is not a player that is going to get pushed around and does an excellent job getting after the quarterback but also setting the edge against the run. He is a player that could compete for playing time as a rookie and take over one of the starting jobs in 2021.
