Buffalo Bills 7-Round Mock Draft: Buffalo goes edge rusher first
Round 6, Pick 207: Trevis Gipson, EDGE (Tulsa)
While the Buffalo Bills did use their second round pick on defensive end, they go back to the position here. In the next two or three years, the position is likely going to need a complete overhaul due to the age and contract situations for the players at the top of the depth chart.
Trevis Gipson is a player that is described as very raw but ascending by Joe Marino at The Draft Network in his scouting report. He has the potential to develop into a contributor with coaching and with Eric Washington as his position coach, he certainly develop by the time he is need to contribute.
At 6’4″ and 259 pounds, along with the physical tools he has, the potential is there. If he is given time to develop, this could be a late round steal.
