Round 3, 86th overall: Jonathan Greenard, EDGE (Florida)

Available players at this pick: Darrell Taylor, EDGE (Tennessee), Chase Claypool, WR (Notre Dame), Brycen Hopkins, TE (Purdue)

The Buffalo Bills address one of their biggest needs in the second round and check the other one off in the third with the selection of Jonathan Greenard. He was a transfer from Louisville to the University of Florida and in his one season he registered 9.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.

He is a prototypical 4-3 defensive end but isn’t going to be forced into a prominent role with the veterans the Bills currently have on the roster. The coaching staff can pick their spots with him, highlighting his ability to get after the quarterback as he grows into a bigger role.
