Round 5, 167th overall: Tanner Muse, S (Clemson)

Available players at this pick: Jack Driscoll, OT (Auburn), Shaquille Quarterman, LB (Miami)

When the Buffalo Bills have a roster like they do, they can identify players that may not necessarily fit a specific position but are good football players that can have a role. That is what they got with Collin Johnson with their last pick and that is what they get with Tanner Muse here.

The former Clemson Tiger played safety at the collegiate level but he may not have the speed to keep up in the NFL. However, he is a heavy hitter and could shift to be another athletic linebacker for this team. Sean McDermott has had success with big safeties shifting to linebacker, like Shaq Thompson, and this could be another player that takes a similar path.
