Bills will sign Christian Kirksey to a multi-year deal

This is a move that makes too much sense not to happen as the Buffalo Bills should try and sign Christian Kirksey to a multi-year deal. The two sides have already met for a free agent visit last week.

Kirksey is a six-year veteran who was released earlier this offseason by the Cleveland Browns. He has experience playing both inside linebacker in a 3-4 defense but outside linebacker in a 4-3 defense and this is where he fits best for the Bills.

The Bills have a need at outside linebacker with the retirement of Lorenzo Alexander and Kirksey is the perfect replacement to fill the role on the field, but help with the leadership gap in the locker room. At only 27 years of age, Kirksey could be more than just a short term fix but rather a long term solution.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see a deal get done sooner rather than later if the Bills are able to sign the veteran linebacker.
